Getting Started with Meshes

The Grasshopper Primer Project

The Grasshopper Primer continues to grow! We are excited to introduce the newest chapter: Getting Started With Meshes.

In the field of computational modeling, meshes are one of the most pervasive forms of representing 3D geometry. Mesh geometry can be a light-weight and flexible alternative to working with NURBS, and are used in everything from rendering and visualizations to digital fabrication and 3D printing

This new chapter will provide an introduction to the basics of what mesh geometry is and how it is handled in Grasshopper, as well as offering step-by-step walk-through exercises to help even beginner users understand and create with mesh geometry.
